Speedo- and Odo- meter problems, 760 -88 700

I have a 765 Turbo Diesel Intercooler -88, wich had a broken speedometer when i bought it.

A friend of mine found the problem with the speedo - A diode was broken. He replaced it and tested it with a signal generator - Speedo was working great.

I mounted it in the car again, and everything seemed to work fine.
I didnt drive so fast, about 110km/h (68mph) at most, for a few weeks.

Then i went for a drive on the highway - And noticed speedo never goes over 119km/h. Sometimes itīs max 115, sometimes 119, and when i go faster, it goes back to 110 until i slow down again, then it goes up a bit, and then works just fine, until next time i drive faster than 110km/h again.

Since i saw when the speedometer was hooked up to the signalgenerator, and it then worked fine all the way up to 220km/h, i dont think thatīs causing the problem?

The odometer suffers the same problem - When i drive faster than 110km/h itīs not accurate.

What could be causing this? speed sensor? ABS/Speedo converter relay??
The ABS isnt working either - But one of the front speed sensors gives a very bad curve, when i check it with an oscilliscope.
