Tranny shifting rather quickly S90-V90

"the air conditioning really seems to cut back on the power of the engine when it's switched on Does yours do this as well?"

Yes, both our 98 and our 95 feel the pain of the A/C compressor drag. We feel it even more here where I live at an elevation of 7,200 ft. The engine is making about 22% less power at this altitude than at sea level so the compressor drag is even more noticeable. For some reason our 95 feels even less powerful than our 98 when the compressor clutch kicks in. I have checked the pressures in both systems and they are normal and exactly the same so I don't think it's the compressors. I have considered disconnecting the battery for 30 mins or so and reseting the ECM and seeing if that makes any difference.
