Hard starting and won't idle. 200

Here's what I've done to this beast ('89 245) since I bought it a few weeks ago:
new battery
new alternator brushes
new starter
new AMM
new flame trap
"new" fuel pressure regulator
"new" fuel pump relay
cleaned TB


Now the thing barely starts and won't idle. It seems to search for an idle while it warming up, but then just dies and won't restart, although it turns over fine.
If I had to guess about the time this all started it would have to be just after I cleaned the TB, but it's acting like its either starving of there's a vacume leak, which I checked for.
Please offer me some ideas before I either turn this beast over to a real mechanic, or junk it.
