just checking: onboard diagnostics 700 1990

The check engine light came on this 1990 745 NA. The OBD read 1-3-3, which indicates something with throttle switch, throttle positon sensor, high idle according to FAQs. First thing I did was to confirm the 1-3-3, then I cleared the OBD. When I did this, the check engine light no longer comes on, even after short drive. Is this just a hiccup in the check engine light, or something that needs further attention? This car is due for a throttle body cleaning, so I will do that. Thanks in advance for any replies.
