You'd possibly get more responses if you posted the MODEL/YEAR using the selection menus provided.

Between 200/700/900 models over 25 years or so, there are about 4 different FI variations and as many Ignition systems (Ignition problems will prevent Fuel operation).

For me, there are too many possbilities to hazard a guess based in the info provided. Your post has been up too long to edit, so I'd suggest a new one with more detail.
