Help me become a volvo lover 200 1983

I do repair work on many different types of machinery, however I have never been around a Volvo before. I have a lady client that ask me to help with her car. She drove her '83 GLT turbo wagon with a B 21F engine into the driveway and had her son change the oil and fuel filters. The car has not started since then. Cranks fine but no start. I'm feel like he probably knocked a wire loose or something simple like that. Any time saving advice on where to start would be greatly apreciated. She's had the car since brand new and loves it. My gut feeling is that volvo makes a good machine. Help me understand it. Thanks.
