Bad Vibrations 700

Hello Rusty,

My 1993 T-Rex has a vibration at idle and up to about 20-30 MPH. It’s not too bad and I’m just living with it, till I get a round tuit. It has a butchered up exhaust system with a broken upper strap on the muffler. (Natural vibration of the engine’s exhaust and whatever is loose accentuates the rattle.)

Since you can feel it at idle like mine, I am still leaning toward the exhaust system. You may be able to make it change or go away temporarily by pushing (hard) on different parts of the exhaust. You might have to get under the car and inspect closely. If that doesn’t do anything post back.
