85 240 Keep blowing AMM won't even limp home 200 1985

I have an 85 240 2.3 liter with 157K miles that keeps blowing the AMM. This time it will not even go into limp home mode, thanks to this forum I did check that.

This time during evening rush hour I had just pulled out from a stop light throught the intersection and the car dies, no warning. The car had already been driven approximately 100 miles that day without any problems at all. The last AMM replacement along with both fuel pumps and the computer took place in January of this year.

I'm not a mechanic, but there has to be something very wrong for this to happen 5 times in the 5 years that I have owned the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Again, thanks to this forum I'm replacing the airbox T and installing the AMM myself and would appreciate any other suggestions.

Love the Volvo vehicles, just hate being stranded.
