Keyless remote brand 700 1989

No, I intentionally chose the model that did not include the remote starter -- that's more cutting into the electrical system than I wanted to get into.

I know it's a personal thing, but I'm not a big fan of remote starters. I feel like adding a cheap piece of electronics into a critical system of the car is just asking for trouble (in the long-term). I have visions of the car not starting for my wife some night when the temperature is -10 degrees F, in the middle of nowhere. All because of a device which adds minimal convenience -- at best.

If the keyless entry system fails, it can be "overridden" simply by using the key.

Just my 2 cents... arguably worth that.
