m47 selector shaft seal removal ? 200

On the back of the m47 5-spd transmission there's a seal for the selector shaft which is located right above the tailshaft. What's the proper way to go about removing the seal? Is there a special Volvo tool available to do this? KD tools sells a seal tool for GM and Chrysler but nothing for any other model. Thanks in advance.
