wagon trailer hitch for sedan??? 200 1982

Hey guys,
I need a quick response to my question. My parents are giving me a slightly Frances-damaged couch set so i need to trailer it- probably u-haul 5x9 open trailer, tounge wieght unspecified but should be around 300#. Any how my sedan does not have a hitch, but saw an '88 wagon at the junkyard with a TUBULAR looking hitch for 15 bucks. Will this hitch fit my sedan? Also it has volvo stamped on it. I hate to go to walmart and spend $80 on a new reese hitch or $170 at IPD...but this is supposed to happen this weekend! Will the tubular hitch fit my sedan sight-unseen (is it a bolt on?)?? Well thanks for the advice in advance.

P.S. I just bought my 244 in march for like 400 dollars. It was ready for the junkyard! However, with all your help and advice I sorted the entire suspension and fuel delivery/injection system and even added alot of creature comfort and upgrades. Just last weekend I went to Atlanta and back from Gainesville,Fl (where I live). This car never ceases to amaze me.. I was cruising at 75 mph with some 85mph spurts and overtaking. The volvo performed flawlessly for the almost 450 mile six hour trip. Brick board rocks!!
