Timing Belt and Seal Replacement Questions 200

I am at work so, sorry for not being able to log in...Don't have my password.

I am preparing to do my first timing belt and seal replacement job in about a week. I have searched through the archives and have found much valuable information about taking the front crankshaft bolt off and what to use to remove the seals. My questions are these:

1) What tools/techniques do you use to loosen the camshaft and intermediate shaft bolts?

2) When using the counterhold tool, which way does the crankshaft, camshaft and intermediate shaft bolts turn to loosen? Are they reverse threads (i.e. righty loosey, lefty tighty??)

Thanks for all of those people who were able to help me get my "project" up and running. I wanna learn how to do this myself, so I don't have to take it to the shop.

Any help and guidance is greatly appreciated.

Todd :-)
