Food for thought

John Parker's Ford rear brake conversions is very straight forward and depending on your (or your friends) abilities an interesting (and potentially low cost) path to better, cheaper, and more easily obtained rear brakes (drum and disk!). You could easily get all the parts you need at Pick and Pull for 50 bucks or so. Basically it takes a complete 60 - 80s 8" Ford rear end. You may be able to sell the unused parts to recoup the parts cost. I already had em in my garage.

I understand John is not doing these routinely at the moment (he is up to his behind in excellent projects for us) but I think he has an information flyer if you contact him. Also, check this link:
