If you mean 960 or an in-line six cylinder, the answer is yes, someone in Sweden put a 960 IL6 with a S80 T6 set-up into a 240.

If you mean 850, or 5 cyl then I've never heard of anybody doing that.

And NO the 9xxx series didn't use only the B230F/FT, the B6304S was also used in the 960 (six cyl)
