new purchase 700 1990

Easy way to tell if all cylindars are firing and which ones.

Open the hood on cold engine, start the car, walk around the the exhaust manifold and feel each of the four individual pipes at the top of the exhaust manifold.

The one's for cylindars that are firing will be warm (soon too hot to touch), the others will stay cool much longer.

One thing will need know about your car sooner or later. I believe N/A (non turbo) 740s came with either Bosch LH 2.4 fuel injection or Rex-Regina Fuel injection. Read the FAQ to determine which you have.
