wont start no spark 200

I have trace the problem back to the igniton mudule i think.. i may be worng i want some more opinions beofr i go spending 250 dollars on a new module. There is no spark coming out of the ignition coil... it only workes SOMETIMES.... VERY RARELY... i already replaced the trigger wheel and pickup coil in the distributor. I noticed that there is no elcectricity going to the distributor from the brown or green wires when the igniton is on or in the start position.... is there supposed to be? I know that the wires are good.. there is no elcecrticity coming out of the igniton module... it has power coming form the blue wire and the black wire is grounded..... just no power going to the green...
