Here is a lousy pic of the bracket from a 940. IIRC, there is an adapter on the end of the tranny and IIRC the new modern 940 Volvo exhaust pipe has an adapter bracket welded on. It does get in the way of the pan removal (which shouldn’t be often) without Steve’s mod. To drop the pan: support the tranny, remove cross member, remove the exhaust support, reinstall the cross member…
