New OD selenoid and relay. Sstill no OD on AW71, What am I missing 700

I just replaced the overdrive selenoid and overdrive relay with new ones I purchased from FCP and the overdrive still does not work. I removed the overdrive and tested to make sure it works. When I apply 12 volts to it I can blow through it. I know fluid is getting to it because fluid spews out of the transmission where the selenoid goes when I started the car. Installed, I can here the selenoid click like it should when I push the overdrive button on the shifter knob. But the overdrive still did not work when I put it back together. What am misssing? Please help.
