I have a 85 240ti and am under the car to pull the trans. pan to replace the kickdown cable and I noticed a smaller cable in diamitor that is behind the plate that the header is mounted to and looks like it goes into the bellhousing. It is cut and looks like a sheilded type cable.It was cut back by the kickdown cable where it goes into the trans.What is this cable and where should it go to? Whats so strange is I have been under this car alot and never saw this before.Can't find it in the Bentley anywhere.
