Installed electric seats in manual car-how do I hook up heating element? 700

Get out the volt-ohm meter and rig them the best way you can. That's what did merely trying to install 89 manual-adjusting seats into an 88 760T. The original seats had a two-stage heat system and the newer and less expensive seats a single stage system designed for cloth, not leather seats, for there is a difference. But with some work I got everything hooked up. Used them this morning here in lower NY state and they worked nice! There may be a simple way depending upon your particular situation, but starting from scratch worked for me.
