ZF4P22 Fluid change 700

If you're reading the original owners manual that came with the car (proper year and intended for your engine & tranny), then I would stay with what it recommends. The Type-F fluid I believe has been superceeded with Type-FA, and there are plenty of companies that make it. You shouldn't have any problem finding shelf stock at your local autoparts store.

I would also advise removing and cleaning the transmission pan and the magnet BEFORE your flush the fluid. More info on that subject here. Also, when posting on the brickboard, it helps us a lot when you tell us what year vehicle you have. There's a selection tab right below the subject line where you can list what vehicle you have. Since there were changes during production, we can confirm if you are indeed using the correct fluid. (the early transmissons use Type-F ATF (now superceeded by Type-FA ATF), and the later ones use Dex-II ATF (now superceeded by Dex-III ATF).

God bless,
Fitz Fitzgerald.
