ZF4P22 Fluid change 700

Sorry guys, it's a 1983 760 GLE Turbo Diesel with the ZF4P22. The original manual, in the glove compartment, says to use type F or G. I still see F in some stores. I found this at an oil website.

CAUTION: Mixing different types of fluid can affect the way the transmission shifts and feels. Using the pre 80’s Ford F Type fluid in an application that calls for Dexron II may make the transmission shift too harshly. Using Dexron II in a transmission that has Type F may allow the transmission to slip under heavy load, which can accelerate clutch wear. So it is beneficial to ensure a full system flush is carried out using dedicated equipment prior to refilling with clean new fluid.

I will do a system flush, as explained in the FAQ's but I'm still unsure of the oil to use. I'm leaning towards Type F because of the above statement and the Owner's manual.

Thanks
