SU's vs. Strombergs 140-160

Off topic question here...does any one of the 142's comes with a power steering?

About the Strombergs, like George said, it cannot be adjusted. My 74 144 comes with a single unit, and for the most part, the diaphragm is the culprit behind all the carb problems so far. The first carb lasted 24 years with 260K miles on it, having gone through half a dozen diaphragm or so, and a heat compensator or two. I had to replace it finally because the float was faulty and also a good used unit from a 244 came along at a reasonable price. No problems with the "new" one so far. Keep driving with the Stromberg. If it goes bad, its probably just the diaphragm.
