Looking for a Line on Parts 120-130

Hello all,

You've been a great source of information and encouragement regarding my
1967 122S that I recently picked up. The car, as bought.....wasn't operational
as it needed a clutch mater/slave & water pump. While my mechanic was up under there, I had them have a look-see at the suspension & brakes as well as everything else.

One thing that was interesting is....there was no thermostat present. That's been addressed. The radiator is going to be pressure checked for leaks. I'll keep my fingers crossed on that one.

Everything looks pretty good under the car excepting........as you all mentioned and suspected, the car has leaking wheel cylinders. Also, they said that 5 of the 6 tie rod ends are shot. They quoted me $450 for the parts, excluding labor. Since the car had to be towed in, the work is in their hands. Once it runs and I have it, I'll start doing a lot of this work myself.

However...my question is: does anyone have a source for really good prices on tie rod ends and wheel cylinders? It doesn't look like I'll do any better
at Scancar or IPD. Any thoughts/ideas? Lastly, if you have any extra parts from old projects, etc....I'd really be interested.

It looks like for for about $1600 (purchase price, parts, towing and labor estimate) total, I'll have a nice vintage Volvo heading down the road.

Best and thanks a lot. I visit here every day, just like my BMW 2002 boards.
Glad to be aboard.
