brake pads 140-160 1971

It seems I sort of sizzled my brakes driving down Highway 1 Ώ] about two weeks ago. They never faded to where I was really stressed, however, they certainly don't seem to have as much athority as before and they were smelling a little funny that afternoon. These were a set of PBR Deluxe pads that I got from iPd.

A friend of mine has PBR Metal Masters on his 850 and those (once they warm up) seem really good but don't seem available for the 140s. Although I like the low dust of the PBR I'd like to try something new because I never felt their inital bite was all that great. Is there someplace other than iPd to get new pads?

Oh, and this was with solid rotors on Girling calipers I rebuilt.

Joel

Ώ] not that I would _ever_ drive 10/10th on public roads...but, it does have my favorite road sign of all times: "Dangerous narrow and twisting road next 21 miles. Use extreme caution. Watch for bicycles"
