Removing/ painting bumper bars. 200

Greetings all, just wondering if anyone has had experience with colour-coding bumper-bars. To get it professionally done costs about AUD$300 per bumper! PFF! However, seeing as i can get auto paint for cheapish, i figure it cant be thattt hard.

1, Who knows how to take the bumpers off without destroying things..

2, Should i opt for a high-build non-flexible primer, or a plastic flexi-prime with less build???

3, I plan to use a 'colour-touch' auto spray paint and a clear coat on top, should it work ok??

Thanks in advance all.
Chris.
