no power 200 1990

I recently replaced a faulty Air mass meter with a used one. My 90 240 DL ran great for about three days. Last sunday I took it to the car wash and got it all cleaned up. Ran fine all the way home. went to drive it about an hour later and the thing would barely move. It idles normally for about 10-15 secs. when I start it up cold. but then the rpm,s drop off and she dies. any ideas would be useful. OBD shows no fault codes. Replaced plugs, plug wires, and fuel filter a month and a half ago. cleaned the throttle body two days ago only helped slightly.
