B23FT low oil Pressure without turbo -- Help please 200

Hi,
Last week we install a B23FT on a 77 wagon, this motor just have 57k miles!, but we Installed without turbo and runs very well. The problem that we see the oil pressure on idle (it turns on the idiots light) and with a manometer @900 rpm there just 7psi and with a high rpm @3000 just see 25psi. My question is: this is because we close the oil lines that usually goes to the turbo? or can somebody can give me and advice why the oil pressure is so low, I check the piston compression and I read 140.

Thanks again!

Edwin
