Oil has some cream colored foam - 1996 964 900

I justed checked my oil today and noticed that there's some foam surrounding the dipstick - The oil also has some cream colored foam at the end of the dipstick. Can someone advise me as to what's happenning? Am I looking at some expsenive repairs? Thanks.

Eagerly awaiting responses.

On another note, I'd like to know if the Actron 9145 scanner is preferred over the CP9135. Is there an advantage as far as features using the CP9145? Thanks.
