80 245-> 78 242?

I am trying to drop the engine out of my 80 245 with a B230? into my 78 242 that has a blown engine...

It's at the shop and they cant figure out why it wont work. So far they switched over everything complete, and it wouldnt work. Then they put the old head on the new engine. I'm only getting gas in 2 cyl. The fuel distribution box is messed up or something.

1) is there any way to install the fuel distribution box from the 80 into it?

2) I have a dual carb intake from an older model car. Can I just throw on the intake and a couple of webbers and make this thing run?

3) Does anyone have any webbers?

4) and advise or help would be greatly appreciated.
