B20's of pretty much any sort run well with additional advance, some people run up to 25-30 advance in carbed cars. You won't do damage below 20 advance, no matter how lean you tune it.

You'd probably get better engine advice in the 140 forum, since '75 was the only year of the B20 in a 240.

I have a '74 with k-jet. I run mine at 15d advance. About the only difference I know of may be the different fuel filters and the electronic ignition in the '75.
