'90 240DL idle surging after cold start 200

Hi all,

It's beginning to be that time of year again to find out what surprises the (slightly) colder weather is bring to the old girl.

This year it's a surging idle after a cold start that smooths out once the idle is warm and then it's fine for the rest of the day.

What is the list of things to do from most likely to least?
