... lift the 5 speed manual transmission out of an '88 740 wagon and stick it in a '90 740 wagon after removing the auto trans in the '90?
...
my '88 740 was rear ended and totaled due to repair price (got $1200.00 for it from the othwer guy's ins co.)...still runs fine with almost 250k mi on it. but the tailgate is stuck and the left rear door is stuck also. i like rwd volvo wagons but hate auto tranies. so i want to keep my old transmixer and put it in the newer wagon. would appreciate any ideas.
