Weatherstripping bulk purchase happening ! 1800

Good News! :)

I've had enough interest in the alternative hood & trunk seal I polled everyone on a few weeks ago so I'm going to order a few rolls of it on Monday or Tuesday. I should have it about a week after that. Look in the weatherstripping+ folder in the Yahoo 1800 List files section to see a picture of what it looks like (or e-mail me if you're not on the 1800List).

It'll be priced very competitively with IPD and the other vendors but this stuff doesn't have to be glued on like theirs does and I'll be giving you enough hood seal to go across the top and all the way down both sides of the hood opening which is about 2-3 times as much as what IPD and the other vendors give you.

Door Seal

I'm also going to bring in a couple rolls of door (edge) seal at the same time (i.e. the stuff that slides into that track that goes along the sides and bottom of the doors). I think the price will be about $28 USD per door by itself or $52 per car if you buy it with the Complete Window Kit* I'm selling(that'll be called the Complete Door Kit and it'll probably cost $127 USD). The pricing on the door seal is just an estimate and subject to change depending on what my carriage costs end up being but it should be pretty close.

That's a pretty good deal considering IPD charges $32 per door and Swedish Treasures charges $42/door for the same stuff.

* The Complete window kit costs $75 USD plus shipping and includes enough inner and outer window scrapers, clips and front and rear felted rubber window guide channel inserts to do one car. The kit also includes 10 special clips which make it waaaay easier to install and replace the inner window scraper. The individual pieces in the kit are of equivalent or slightly better quality than the stuff you get from IPD and the other vendors except the outer window scrapers (waist seals) which are of much better quality than what IPD and the other vendors sell. Purchased from IPD or the other vendors the kit would cost about $100 USD and it wouldn't include the special clips for the inner scraper because they don't sell them.
