85 740t m46 swap in 92 940t 900 1992

Hi.

I own a 1985 740 turbo with m46 transmission. The tranny has been rebuild last year, but bot the engine. It's the first generation of b230ft with the weakest engine made for this model. I was searching hard for a 940 turbo because of it's solid engine and independant suspension. But i only want manual and here in canada, and maybe anywhere, there are not available... I have search for a 740 90-91 turbo with m46 but again, cannot find one of these rare bricks! Now i've devided to buy a 92 940t and put my transmission on. I've hear transmission if bolt-on, but maybe there's something to do with the flywheel? of the drive shaft... i really don't know I'm a machinist so i can made fitting piece, as long as it's not a differential gear! There is also the brake master cylinder that i wish to put on the 940. Last thing to know is if the frame have the hole to bolt the clutch pedal! So if one here can give me some information, of part of! i'll really enjoy it. Thanks!
