Power Steering Hose Replacement Options 200 1987

A quick question for the shade-tree mechanics on a budget: I need to replace the power steering hoses on my 1987 245 as they are leaking (badly). The part new at Volvo is around $180 and a new aftermarket assembly from FCP around $120. This seems to me a bit steep for a hydrauic hose with some fittings. Can you trust a used p/s hose from a salvedge yard, and/or can a shop like NAPA make one that will function just as well for less money? Thanks in advance for your help

Scott
