Rear break line not bleeding 1800 1971

George, the line coming out of the Break Valve is rubber for about 18 inches. Then it connects to steel, runs along the rear axel and goes into the caliper. I read a scenario at Goodspeed of a similiar circumstance. Volvo used to sell a rebuild kit for these units(273090-1) The valves were supposed to reduce pressure to the rear brakes so they wouldn't lock up. If I can't fix them I will remove them both. Better they lock up then have 75% of the breaks working with an accompanying loss of control.
