Fuel pump runs continuously--electrical prob?

Hey Adrian, thanks for responding. I changed the fuel filter about 6 or eight months ago as well. I also suspected the fuel injection relay could be causing the problem so i replaced it just a couple of weeks ago--to no avail. it's possible that the new one is bad too, but i doubt it. I'll give it a tap or two just to see.

When you talk about a "short" elsewhere in the system, do you mean a loose wire or poor ground--something like that? Anything in particular I could check out? Other possibilities?

Thanks again for your help. Ron
