Advice needed on Transmission design, and Fluid choice, for BW-35 140-160 1975

Hi. I need advice about choosing transmission fluid. I have to admit that the transmission is the part of the car I know least about.

My understanding is that the BW-35, which I have in my '75 164, is quite a different transmission than the later AW70's that I am most familiar with. For one thing (I have been led to believe), this BW-35 has adjustable clutches that can benefit from periodic adjustment (accessible from the outside)... is this correct?
And, are these BW-35 clutches (aside from their being adjustable) different in other ways from the clutches I've always assumed to be in automatic transmissions of all types, including the AW70?

Anyway, my main inquiry is this: I have always (for decades) used synthetic fluids (engine oil, transmission fluid), and routinely used AmsOil ATF for the latter. However, I recently (a year ago) acquired this 164, have been working on it, and now am ready to give the transmission a fluid change. AmsOil meanwhile has introduced a new ATF (in addition to their regular one that I've always used in my AW's). This new fluid is advertised as:
"Super Shift Racing Transmission Fluid. Provides quick, solid upshifts. Automatic transmissions do not slip.... Delivers unmatched friction reduction and reduced wear to clutch plates...."

So, given that the BW-35 is different, do you think it would benefit from this transmission fluid, or should I use the regular ATF that I've always used.

Thanks.
