I have a beautiful (ivory exterior, tan leather interior, power, AC, sunroof, 100,000 original miles)...1980 264 GLE......Body condition excellent, however, she has the original 6 cylinder engine, and needs new valves, cams, rockers, etc. She does run, but I need to sell her - how do I advertise her since she will need a new engine? Or, does anyone recommend that I replace the engine with another make? I've been quoted that a rebuild of her engine will run $4,500. Truly a beautiful classic car.
