Head Changed Now It Won't Start 900 1995

Hello To You All,
finely we found a head and replaced it. Also changed timing pulleys and belt. At this time we also decided to open the oil pump in order to change the spring and the piston, in our horror we saw a thick deposits of black gummy oil around the pump wall, which probably was the reason why there was no good circulation of the oil, so we cleaned the channels and replaced the oil pump spring and piston and gaskets. After all this the engine won't fire. Current does not reach the plugs. Current reaches to the camshaft sensor but no signal comes out, but it was good before the timing gave way.
My questions are:
1. Where did we wrong with regard to head and timing change?
2. Is there a way to completely flush the engine passages and pan without dropping the pan?
Thanks.
Regards, nyjahan.
