difference between 97 and 98 S90-V90

The 960 an S90 was the same car form mid '95 through 98. I don't know of anything except maybe that some wagons have a litle different rear suspension.
Most of the reviews are subjective in that their compared to similar cars of the same year, and even if their not changed at all, like the 960/S90, it's rank against the competition may have. Personally, I think the 96 was a really great year, and the last twio yrs had build quality issues, i.e. fewer customer complaints/repairs per new car per year. Go to JD Power, it's another point of comparrison, although the biggest impact anything has on these cars for these years is the maintenance and care it has had by the previous owner(s).
