Stuck pin in shifting linkage 200 1990

I'm trying to replace the plastic bushings in my auto tranny shifting linkage.
The front one at the tranny was no problem, but on the rear one I can't get out the pin that goes through the bushing. I took off the keeper clip, but I can't get the pin to budge. I tried to pry it out with a screwdriver and pressure it out with channel locks. No luck. Has anyone had this problem? What is the answer? Thanks in advance.
