'97 960 For Sale - Need Long Island Mechanic Recommendation S90-V90

Opportunity to buy a '97 960 on Long Island,NY for less than $1000. Appears that head/valves are nuked. I'm in Massachusetts and would like to contact a real good shop (Jericho to Ronkonkoma or that general area)to discuss the possibility of repairing it or replacing the engine. Anyone have any recommendations in that area? Thanks.
