230FT with AW71 in 240GL, sound good? (Aye Roll) 200

If I go ahead and replace the AW70 with a AW71. Would the 230FT be a hard swap for my 88 240gl? Anyone done this before? What would be a good donor car for such a conversion? Can I go ahead and get the donor car and turbo my current 230F (http://www.turbobricks.org/mods.php?content=turbo-addon) as mentioned in this article and drop in a rebuilt 230FT later. How similiar are these engines? Aye Roll: You mentioned your friends 89 244gl in a previous article with something similiar done, any suggestions? I think this is the best bet, I wanted to stay automatic, keep the GL style and add some horsepower. Any comments or suggestions appreciated.
