washer reservoir light staying on 900

THe washer reservoir light on my '97 960 is staying on or flickering even when it's full. I've checked & there isn't a leak in the reservoir. What could be the problem?
Also both front seats have stopped going forward & back. The angle or tilt of the seats can be adjusted but if a shorter person wants to drive my car they won't be able to move the seat up. New seat motors? How much am I lookingat to have these problems corrected?
