Part 3 of dumb engine with 2200rpm idle...need help still 200

Ok, to recap again, my car won't idle right. It sits at 2200rpm and will not go lower. The IAC valve is fully open all the time. The throttle switch works fine and AMM is fine too.

I checked for resistance on the IAC valve. From one outer pin to middle it's 22 on my digital multimeter in Ohms and from the other outer pin to middle it's 19. Outer to outer is 40. I assume this means that the IAC valve is ok?

There is significant flooding of gas. I the intake manifold, everything has a coating of gas on it, even after not being started for 3 days. The thing is running REALLY rich.

I took out the engine temp sensor. It looks fine, but who knows. I checked for Ohms resistance between the two pins on it and did not get a reading. The sensor I have off an old K-jet car gives 30 to give a reference point. Does this mean the thing is indeed fried? I ordered a new one that will come tomorrow, and maybe fix the problem. How could I tell if mine is bad? The wiring going to the sender looked fine, suprisingly. It had NO signs of deterioration, though I guess it still could be bad somewhere in the middle of the harness. If the temp sensor doesn't fix it, I guess I'll try splicing wire as a temporary fix until I could get a new wiring harness.

How could I test the ECU for working?

thanks again everyone!
