'94 940 turbo. intermittent no start. 900

Dear anarchy x34,

Good p.m. and may this find you well. I'll bet the Crank/RPM Sensor - mounted atop the tranny bell housing, just behind the engine, at the 10 o'clock position (as you face the engine) - is failing. The sensor reads flexplate/flywheel rotation, and signals the fuel pumps to keep working, after the 1-2 second fuel pump "spin up", when the ignition is switched "on".

When the sensor "cuts out", the fuel pump(s) stop(s). In the event of a collision - that stops the engine and starts a front-end fire - rhe RPM sensor signal loss stops the fuel pumps from feeding the flames.

The RPM sensor wiring deteriorates over time. It is an easy fix, see the FAQs under FEATURES, above.

Hope this helps. Post back on results.

Yours faithfully,

spook
