is this picture a rear main seal leak? 900 1994

the vehicle is a 1994 volvo 940 b230f with around 135k. it consumes about .5qt per 1k. i suspect it is the rear main seal after seeing the picture below. now the only question in my mind is the seal worn out, or is the flame trap clogged causing excessive pressure. the flame trap has never been changed to my knowledge. can someone confirm that this looks like a leaky rear main seal? thank you.
