Guys

Does anyone know where can I get information concerning the type approval of my 85' 240? Basically all cars after 1996 in the EU come with the Certificate of Conformity. Are there any resources on the internet for checking for type approved vehicles? I have heard that it is possible to have an older vehicle and be compliant with newer type approval Directives.
